This morning a plane crashed en route from Addis Ababa to Nairobi killing 157 people.

Given the cause of the crash is still unknown, and this is the second such incident involving Boeing’s new 737 Max 8 plane, several countries including China and Indonesia have ordered all 737 Max 8s grounded until further notice. That’s more than 100 aircraft out of commission for now.

Boeing shares are expected to drop about 8% at the open and we’ll keep an eye out to see how things progress. Our deepest sympathies go out to the victims. We hope the cause is discovered and rectified soon.
